EvaluationThe Christian Church was a massive influence to all people of Britain. They listened and abided by nearly all of what the Church said in fear of damnation. The church was the only group who particularly helped the sick to get better and were the only group who taught regular people to care for themselves. However they did not allow any room for challenging what they thought was true and so didn't let any room for the development of knowledge concerning medicine. The church also did not approved of dissection and so people could not find out how the body worked and could not find out how a disease effects the body. |
