Reasons For & Against taking Illegal Drugs

Advantages

  • They are adddicted to them
  • Tricked into taking illegal drugs

Disadvantages

  • Damaging to mental and physical health
  • Penalties ~ 14yrs for class B&C and life imprisonment of supply of class A

Evaluation

Islam - Use of illegal drugs forbidden as it makes mind unfit to concentrate on Allah & duties involved in being Muslim.Christianity - Use of illegal drugs forbidden as affects body/mind God gave. Damage family relationships and society. Also teach that compassion should be given to addicts.
