  • (NSI and ISI) two process model is oversiplified and could be operating together and not independantly.
  • asch (1955)  and perrin and spencer (1980) individual differences also play a part.

Evaluation

alone both NSI and ISI are not complete but in the two process model formed by deutch and gerard (1955) it is stronger but still over simplified as it ignores all individual differences and it does not suggest that NSI and ISI could be operating together.
