Field Experiments + and -. Unit 1

Advantages

  • More natural behaviour so higher Ecological Validity.
  • Less chance of demand characteristics as most field experiments participants are unaware they are taking part.

Disadvantages

  • Ethical issues- Deception, Participants unaware they are taking part.
  • Informed consent.
