- A holy life has to be lived in order to achieve the final goal
- Killing/Taking life is bad in both

- Buddhism doesnt have a heaven as such
- Buddhism does not have a God
- the 8 fold path is more of a guide than strict instructions
- In christianity life is given value because humans are made in the image of god, in buddhism human life is valuable because it offers the chance to reach enlightenment
