Causes

Burning fuels - cars (carbon dioxide and sulphur dioxide)
the carbon dioxide/sulphur dioxide dissolves into the clouds and then acidifies the fain, making acid rain.

Effects

kills fish in lakes
turns limestone, chalk and marble (insoluble) into soluble salts so buildings and cliffs made of these are attacked by these and corroded

Overall summary

this is caused by humans and it is destroying nature and our own things (like buildings).
