        • Characterised by disorganised speech (hard to follow/ inappropriate moods)

        • Very withdrawn and isolated - little physical movement
      • Residual
        • Low positive symptoms but psychotic symptoms present
      • Un-differentiated
        • Does not fit into other types
    • Positive
      • Excess in behaviours (behaviours which have been gained)
      • Some examples include; hallucinations, delusions, thought disorder
    • Negative
      • Loss of behaviours
      • Some examples include; lack of energy, social withdrawal, flatness of emotion, waxy posture
