    • Sample
      • 11 participants who were patients with severe epilepsy which could not be treated with drugs.
      • 9 had been operated on too recently to carry out a therapeutic evaluation to determine whether any unintentional injury had been caused to the brain resulting in impairment in functioning beyond that caused by severing the corpus callosum. 2 of these patients were still experiencing seizures.
      • 1 patient was a man who had been operated on 5 and a half years before who showed no symptoms of epilepsy and no significant impairments.
      • 1 patient was a mother in her 30s who had been operated on over 4 years before and was also seizure-free

      • Visual
        • One of the participants eyes is covered, the P gazes at a fixation point on an upright translucent screen. Tachistoscope - 35mm slides arranged in a standard projector are projected either side of the fixation point (into one visual field or the other) for 1/10th second. To the left of the fixation point is the LVF, and to the right is the RVF.
