  • infants have an inbuilt tendency to interact with cares. by 2 months they start to smile at human faces,
    • born totally dependent on others to survive, however through observation and maturing cognitive understanding, babies begin to chose things and make decisions
    • infants start playing alone (solo play) but then progress to parallel play

    • independence of all own money, making all decisions eg buying a house, clothes ands tarting a family
    • starting a family can impact finances, social life ,and energy
    • increased freedom when children leave home
    • later in the life stage you will plan retirement
    • individuals may experience time pressures that may limit their social activity
    • some adults report a reduction in amount of social activity due to the pressures
