    • Tar damages cilia in your lungs and trachea - hairs and mucus catch the dirt and clear the trachea - chest infections are more likely

    • Carbon monoxide reduces the amount of oxygen in the body - heart rate increases leading to increase blood pressure, damaging artery walls, causing blood clots and increasing the risk of cornorary heart disease
    • Carcinogens can lead to cancer
