- For the London Assembly and local gov councils it was cerainly a success, as it has led to the 'convergence' of the boroughs
- Success for environmental stakeholders, there was a clean-up of the area, transformation of brownfield sites, and new wetlands now form an area
- For central gov the games were certainly a success, as they have left a long lasting legacy in the UK both locally and nationally
- Failure
- Local economy stakeholders were compensated, but they now have a longer commute to work
- Local residents lost out. Although new housing was created, it was not affordable, new housing entry level is now £250,000
