- the mode is the most common number seen in the sequence.
- the range is the biggest number taken away by the smallest.
- the median is all the numbers put in order from smallest to largest then its the middle number.
- the mean is all the numbers added together then divided by how many numbers there is .
- probability
- the HIGHER the probability of something, the MORE LIKELY it is.
- the probability of ZERO means it will NEVER HAPPEN
- a probability of ONE means it DEFINITELY WILL HAPPEN.
- key terms IMPOSSIBLE,UNLIKELY, EVENS, LIKELY, CERTAIN.
- percentages
- percent means out of 100
- change/original x 100 = percentage
- to find 10% then you would divide by 10
- to find 20% you would divide by 10 and then times by 2
- to find 5% you would divide by 10 and then divide by 2
