    • Opened her fist shop on Kings Road, London, called Bazaar.
    • The 'Mini Skirt', one of the most defining fashions of the 1960's. Quant considered more practical.
    • In 1966 she braught out a book called 'Quant by Quant' her first Auto-biography.
    • Her skirts were shorter than any that had been seen before and led to the wearing of tights instead of stockings.
    • Her childlike fashions were short and in youthful colours; Purple, Mustard, Ginger, Red, Blue and Green.
    • Her designs overturned the traditional emphasis on grooming and elegant, ladylike fashions.
    • Designer of the Sixties!
    • Quant was a self-taught designer.
    • Short skirts and Shift dresses became Quants trademark.
