- What happened: The dawes plan was created so that Germany could afford the money loan they had to pay back to france as they were risking everything they had.(Reparations)
- Cause: The Germans were in debt from France from all the loans they took out with the country.
- March 1924
- Effects:
- Brought in foreign investments.
- Short tern economic benifits to Germany.
- However made Germay economy dependent on foreign market (investments).
- However if anything went wrong like this again it couldhave led on a new great depression and would make thing worse.
