- In the Summer, Tourists arrive from everywhere
- Activities Include: Hiking, mountain biking,sailing and hand gliding
- Winter
- During the winter months, there is alot of snowfall on the peaks of the Alps. This is a good oportunity for winter events such as: skiing, snowboarding and winter climbing and other snow events.
- H.E.P.
- Hydro-electric power is generated by Hydro-power. It is made through the use of gravitational force or flowing water.
- It is commonly used as power in Fold mountains because as the glaciers melt, they produce fast flowing rivers.
- Forestry
- Coniferous trees are the main type of tree that grow on The Alps.
- They Grow mostly on the North side of the mountains and have been purposely cultivated.
- The people that live there rely on the forest to provide materials and fuel to live
