- How to do a Flame test
- 1.Put a small amount of a group 1/2 element on a sterilised plate.
- 2. Sterilise a wire loop with HCl and burn it
- 3. Put the compound on the loop
- 4. Place the bunsen burner on blue flame and put the wire loop on the tip of the flame
- 5. Determine element by looking at the colour of busen flame.
