Chapter 2.
- Your Body.
  - Heart = Centre.
  - Vein = deoxygenated blood to the heart.
  - Artery = oxygenated blood away from the heart.
- Blood Flow.
  - Deoxygenated: Vena Cava, RA, Tricuspid Valave, RV, Pulmonary Valve, Pulmonary Artery, Lungs.
  - Oxygenated: Heart, Pulmonary Vein, LA, Bicuspid Valve, LV, Aortic Valve, Aorta, Body.
- Conduction System
  - Heart = myogenic.
  - Starts at SA Node, spreads to LA, then travels to AV Node, next to the Bundle of His, to the Purkinje Fibres and then the Ventricles.
- Cardiac Cycle
  - Systole Phase: Emptying heart of Blood
  - Diastole Phase: Filling heart of Blood.
  - Atrial Diastole & Systole. Ventricular Diastole & Systole.
- Autonomic Nervous System
  - Sympathetic & Parasympathetic.
  - Sympathetic: Increase HR
  - Parasympathetic: Decrease HR
  - Three Controlling Factors: Neural, Hormonal & Intrinsic.
