  • ECO-SYSTEMS
    • Biodiversity
      • The range of different plants and animals species living in an eco-system.
        • Many species are becoming closer to extinction because of the harming of their habitat due to deforestation and global warming.
      • Programs and charities have been made which have given us a better understanding on what it is.
    • Deforestation
      • Reduces the variety of plants that there are which links to biodiversity.

      • This could destroy the habitats of all the animals which means species could die out.
        • Reduces the variety of plants that there are which links to biodiversity.
        • The removal of a large area of trees.
          • Negative impact on the cleaning of the air to turn carbon dioxide back into oxygen which plants do.
            • The plants that are removed are often burned as fuel having a negative impact on global warming

        • Global Warming
          • The increase in the worlds temperature.
            • As the population of the world increases then the higher level of CO2 is going to be increased
            • Due to the increase of carbon dioxide levels.
              • This is from the burning of fossil fuels which release CO2 into the air.
                • We are trying to prevent gaining power from fuel by using wind turbines, solar etc. to get power instead.
