What is Cloud Storage?
Cloud Storage stores data at a remote location online. When files and data are sent to the cloud, they are actually being sent to a server that is connected to the internet. Files can be uploaded to a folder system and downloaded as required.

What is Solid-state Storage?
Solid-state Storage has no moving parts. It holds data using electronic switches. If the switch is open, it represents a '1', since it retains an electronic charge. if it is closed, it represents a '0'. It is an electrical from of storage, unlike magnetic

What is Optical Storage?
Optical Storage uses a laser to shine and reflect light to read stored data.

What is Magnetic Storage?
Magnetic Storage uses a magnetizable coating. Magnetized dots are made on the surface of the material. These dots are created, read and deleted by very small electric magnets.
