Integration
The opposite of differentiation

Rules -increase the power by 1
- divide by the new power

∫ x^n dx = x^n+1 / n+1
1 of 5
Integration and c
When integrating there could be an unknown number (c)
2 of 5
Finding c value
If given a point on the graph you can insert the values into the integration to rearrange and find c
3 of 5
Definite integrals
Definite integrals have boundaries the larger one goes on the top of the integral sign

One the equation is integrated sub the top value for x and then the bottom alum for x and subtract the two answers
4 of 5
Area under a curve
Use definite integration with the roots of the graph the find the area
