1st main point - the real problem is how resources are distributed
- if each country distributed resources equally - no problem with population - RICH NORTH/POOR SOUTH

if distributed equally would end such things as hunger in countries with poverty - make population not look like a problem

2nd point - more problems are caused by other factors
such as poverty / poor governments / war / natural disasters / most importantly poor governments because that affects population size eg:health resources education

these are much bigger problems then population is in the cases of earthquakes or war in iraq.

3rd point - large populations can be beneficial
IN AN IDEAL WORLD high population can lead to higher GDP, more educated,more discoveries,inventions/better governments

the idea that large populations lead to poverty - NOT TRUE LOOK AT CHINA AND LEDC CONTRIES - expand on this
