What were the three main motivations for the break with Rome?
Gaining Power over the Pope and the english clergy, Gaining money from the church that normally went to the Pope and Achieving his mariage to Anne Boleyn.

He was charged with praemunire, which means that he served the Pope before the King, this was false though as he had done everything in his power to acheive it.

Thomas More, this shows that the King would be more likely to appoint a layman than a member of the clergy.

In 1529, why did Henry call Parliment?
So that they could pass a series of anti-clerical laws.

The act in restraint of appeals (1533), Act of succession (1534), Act of Supremecy (1534), treason act (1534), the dissolution of the lesser monistaries act (1536)

Thomas Cromwell (anti-clerical and favoured reformers)

What did Henry recieve in 1532?
The submission of the clergy, they agreed to recognise him as the head of the Curch as far as the law of Christ allows

Who did Henry replace Warham with after he died in 1532?
Thomas Cramner, he was chaplain to the Boleyn family and a reformer. He was much more submissive than Warham.

What happened in 1532?
Anne was discovered to be pregnant so Cramner married the two and said that Catherine and Henry and never been properly married.
