Visual inspection, vital signs (temp,pulse and respiration) and physical exam

Wounds, weight (emaciated, obese), mobility (lameness, weakness, neurological (scuffing nails), paresis, paralysis, stiffness, pain), respiration rate and depth, posture, behavior and body condition
