Primary Data
refers to the information that wasnt present before research began e.g. questionaires, interviews and observations

This refers to data that already exists e.g. historical records, official statistics , diaries and newspapers

This data is in the form of numbers. e.g. percentages

This refers to all types of data that are not in the form of numbers e.g. quotes, descriptions and pictures

The data presents a true accurate description or measurement

The data is reliable when different researchers using the same data obtain the same result
