Clues

  • A value is a belief that something is good and worthwhile. It defines what is worth having and striving for. (6)
  • A variable concept because what people regard as normal is culturally specific. Eg: The Fafine are seen as normal in a Samoan society. (9)
  • An identifiable group within a society, whose members share common values and have similar behaviour patterns. (10)
  • Behaviour which goes against that which is accepted as normal in a particular society. (8)
  • The culture of a society is the way of life for its members. (7)
  • The part a individual plays in a perticular social setting. (4)
  • The position you hold in the social world and others view of that position. (6)
  • The social process of being brought up to learn the norms and values of their society. (13)
  • These are normal expected patterns of behaviour in everyday life. (5)
  • Very general, vague feelings or opinions about the world. They are rarely very clear or organised but provide us with general framework for our understanding about the world we live in. (7)
