Stakhanov mined 102 tonnes of coal in 6 hours- 14 times normal output. 1 month later he mined 227 tonnes in 1 shift= rewarded with 200 roubles, new apartment, phone, cinema, club and holiday resort tickets. Role model.

Role model. Compulsory meetings set up. bosses recorded production totals and reorganise production techniques to increase output. those who exceeded= rewarded.
