Observation of an aggressive role model (e.g. an older sibling is aggressive), vicarious reinforcement (role model is rewarded), high self-efficacy (aggression is important to you) and direct reinforcement (being aggressive + benefiting from it)

Sport events often have group displays of aggression as fans become xenophobic and territorial. War is another, as males can gain benefits such as status and mates.
