Contains cell sap, a solution of sugar and salts
2 of 8
What is the function of the chloroplast?
Contain chlorophyll which absorbs light for photosynthesis. Photosynthesis happens here to make food for the plant
3 of 8
What is the function of the nucleus?
Contains the genetic material that controls the cell activities
4 of 8
What is the function of the cytoplasm?
Where most of the chemical reactions happen. It also contains enzymes that control these reactions
5 of 8
What is the function of the cell membrane?
Controls what goes in and out of the cell and keeps the contents together
