invloves two muscles working together, one is called the agonist/prime mover eg) bicep, the other is called the antagonist which would be the tricep. A flexor is what bends a limb and an extensor is what straightens a limb.

Isotonic & Isometric Contraction
Isotonic Contraction; movement of the body parts. Concentric contraction involved muscle getting shorter and fatter. Eccentric contraction involves the muscle getting longer and thinner. Isotonic Contraction: no movement.
