What is a Figurative Language (also known as Alliteration)?
This is when their is a repetition of the same letter at the beginning of any consonant or adjacent word which is closely connected together. The effect of this is to enable the audience the main points in a given text.

This is when the writer creates an emotional impact or response to the audience. this is to appeal to peoples emotions and trigger emotional response.

What is Hyperbole?
Hyperbole is an extreme extreme exaggeration used to make a point or emphasis or humor. Hyperbola are used to interest and engage with the audience/reader.

What is a Metaphor?
A metaphor is a figure of speech which is used in words or phrase that is applied to an object or action, which is not exactly true. The effect of this is to allow the reader to come up with many different meaning of the same word.

What is a Simile?
Simile are figure of speech that compare's one thing to another thing that is completely different to it. this allows the reader to get a clearer image in the readers heads which makes the phrase more interesting.

What is a Repition?
Repition is saying or writing the same word in a phrase more than once. this is used to draw out the attention to the word, phrase,image or sound. this means the audience are more likely to remember it.

What is a Rhetorical Question?
Its a question that that is expected not to be answered. Rhetorical question allows the audinec think twice and considers the message behind the question.

What is a Cliché?
A term or phrase that has been overused to an extent, and is well understood by society. they can be used to convey a point that the writer reader can relate to.
