What is the difference between spped and velocity?
Speed is just how fast you are going (e.g. 30m/s) with no regard to the direction. Velocity must also have the direction specified (e.g. 30m/s, 060 degrees).

How do you calculate speed and velocity?
Speed = Distance / Time, Velocity = Distance / Time
2 of 7
What is acceleration?
How quickly you're speeding up, or how quickly the velocity is changing.
3 of 7
How do you calculate acceleration?
Acceleration = Change in Velocity / Time Taken
4 of 7
What are the units for acceleration?
m/s/s or m/s squared
5 of 7
What are distance - time graphs?
X axis = time, Y axis = distance, gradient = speed.
6 of 7
What are velocity - time graphs?
X axis = time, Y axis = velocity, gradient = acceleration, speed = velocity reading, distance travelled = area under line.
