Clues
- A measure of how spread out a set of values is from the mean (8, 9)
- A selection of objects from a collection. Order is irrelevant (11)
- A selection of objects in which the order of the objects matters (11)
- A set of all possible outcomes in an experiment (written in "{ }") (6, 5)
- A variable that can take a numerical value (12)
- A visual display of the five number summary. The box-and-whisker plot is a simplified boxplot taught to beginners . It does not show outliers. The whiskers extending all the way to the minimum and maximum values regardless of how far out they may be (3, 3, 7, 4)
- Events for which the probability of any one event occurring is unaffected by the occurrence or non-occurrence of any of the other events (11, 6)
- Events that cannot happen at the same time (8, 9)
- The linear fit that matches the pattern of a set of paired data as closely as possible. Out of all possible linear fits, the least-squares regression line is the one that has the smallest possible value for the sum of the squares of the residuals (5, 7)
- Upper quartile - Lower quartile (13, 5)
