pathophysiology: cartilage in the joint degenerates and break down which can lead to inflammation and swelling in the joint. Articular cartilage acts as a shock absorber also allows to slide smoothly. Damage- friction- pain

 Reduced mobility- getting up on couch

 Associated medication (analgesics)
