Maths Paper 1

?
How do you work out g⁻¹(x)?
(let's say that g(x) = 4x - 3)
g(y) = x
4y - 3 = x
4y = x + 3
y = x + 3 divided by 4
Hence g⁻¹(x) = x + 3 divided by 4
