Distance = Speed x Time. Distance = 7 x 0.5. Distance = 3.5km. Kelly ran 3.5km.

Speed = Distance/Time. Speed = 100 \ 5. Speed = 20km/h. Alan's average speed is 20km/h

Scott cycles at 4mph and covers a distance of 13 miles. How long does his journey take?
Time = Distance/Speed. Time = 13 \ 4. Time = 3.25hrs. But we don't write 3.25 hours. The answer should be in hours and minutes. So the answer is 3hrs 15mins.

The rule is, if the next digit is: 5 or more, we 'round up'. 4 or less, it stays as it is.
