- laissez faire is more of an economic system than a 'type of government'.

- they didn't believe the state was limited just that it ideally should be limited/reduced

- Might be better to call in the Human Rights Act so that everyone knows what you are talking about. Also it wasn't exactly Labour the bought it in, it was Parliament as a whole.
