From a continuous layer covering organs (internal and external) - often as a protective substance (like that of the stomach lining).

What is the difference between cuboidal and columnar epithelium?
The shape and where they are found.

What is skeletal muscle?
A tissue attached to bones to generate locomotion in mammals.

What is smooth muscle?
A tissue which occurs in skin, blood vessels (walls) and digestive & respiratory tract which contracts less powerfully but more rhymthically.
