John Locke
Was one of the founders of "liberal" political philosophy, the philosophy of individuals rights and limited government.

What means "Natural Law" ?
Something above and beyond laws made by Man. This sort of "natural" law's premises were founded on the belief in the superior power of God, the created governments that rul, and laws that regulated that rule.

What is civil society according to Locke ?
A united body of individuals under the power of an executive that protects their property and well being, and designs legislation to govern ther behaviour.

What is the Labor Theory of Property ?
It is a theory of natural law that holds that property originally comes about by the exertion of labor upon natural ressources.
