What did the Government of India Act 1958 outline? How was this controversial?
It gave Queen Victoria the highest, most significant position for the administration of India despite her absence of the ceremony. Indians also had little say in how India would be run in this act.

B:I was 1:2, so by having more Indian troops, nearly double, there was suggestions that there was a diversity that existed.

What is another arguement that shows India's administration was not so bad?
Christian, white British people were the superior, dominant race at the time, so by giving them the most power, Britain was running the country more effectively. They believed that Indians were savage and uncivilised. Thus, they deserved the lower ranks.

People debated that Indians should have a greater role in government. It still shows controversy as this was something only debated, not put into place.
