What is the Data Protection Act 1998?
The Data Protection Act 1998 gives individuals the right to know what information is held against them. It cannot be held for longer than necessary and has to be updated regulary. It also cannot be sold.

are applications that are stored on your computer; the software has been installed on that computer. For example: Microsoft Office.

is developed by a company. You usually have to pay to use it on your computer or online. They have more features and can get professional help.

Save money, no purchase for applications as most are free to use.

More expensive.
