What was agreed at the Yalta conference?
-That germany would be divided into 4 zones which would be run by the USA, France, Britain and USSR. - The countries of Eastern Europe would be allowed to hold free elections. - The USSR would join the war against Japan.

- The Nazi party was to be banned and it's leaders would be tried as war criminals.

This was made to try and contain communism, It meant that the USA provided military and economic aid to Turkey and Greece
