What is 'FORM'?
Form is the type of text you should be writing e.g. Fiction/ non-fiction, newspaper article etc.

What is 'LANGUAGE'?
The language is what style of writing is used e.g. Informal, slang etc.

What does 'AUDIENCE' involve?
Audience is who you are writing it for e.g. What age group, gender etc.

What is 'PURPOSE'?
The purpose is what the text is meant to do e.g. Is it meant to inform, persuade etc.

Examples of the aim of a text?
E.g. Change someone's opinion, encourage someone to do something in particular, make sure your audience knows and understands something etc.

'FORM'
Make sure you know what different forms look like, if in doubt, look back to Section A of the exam. Are any of the texts used there the kind of text that you are writing? If so, look at the form and the kind of presentational devices they have used.
