Tell me how you'd check that the breaks are working before starting a journey.
Brakes should not feel spongy or slack. Brakes should be tested before you set off. Vehicle should not pull to one side.

In manual or on door pillar.Use reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps.

Head restraints should be adjusted so rigid part of restraint is at least as high as eye or top of ears and as close to back of head as is comfortable.

No cuts/bulges. 1.6mm tread depth across central 3/4 of breadth and outer circumference of tyre.

Steering becomes heavy.Before starting journey:maintain gentle pressure on steering wheels as engine is started, should result in slight movement as system starts to operate. OR Turn steering wheel just after moving off will give immediate indication

Visibility 100m of less. Operate switch,check warning light is on.Ignition on, black dial all way to right and bottom circular button to left of black dial- orange light on.

Operate switch, check main beam warning light. Ignition on, push indicator switch away from you when dipped headlights are on(black dial to right)blue light shows main beam on.

2 pulls of lever near gas pedal to open bonnet. Identify dipstick/oil lever indicator, describe check of oil against minimum and maximum markers.

Identify high and low level markings on header tank where fitted or radiator filler cap and describe how to top up to correct level.Let engine cool before removing cap
