Clues

  • Auctions without reserve: offer to sell is made by becoming the highest bidder (4, 1, 5, 8)
  • Counter- offer will end a contract (4, 1, 6, 4, 5)
  • If someone knows about an offer, it doesn't matter if acceptance is performed FOR a motive other than gaining the ORIGINAL AWARD (9, 2, 2, 5)
  • in order for a statement to be an "offer to sell", the offeror must have INTENTION TO BE BOUND (6, 1, 5, 3, 4)
  • invitation & offer & acceptance (5, 4, 8)
  • Silence does not amount to acceptance (9, 1, 7)
  • supports the mirror image rule (4, 1, 6, 8)
  • the offeror (3, 5, 3, 5)
  • you are inviting people to make you an offer and therefore reserve the right to reject/ accept contract (10, 2, 5)
  • You can't claim for reward if you didn't know about the offer (D didn't get reward) (1, 1, 6, 6, 2)
