Bit
The smallest unit of data that can be stored by a computer, one binary digit value.

A 'Byte' contains 8 bits, so 8 binary digits e.g:11101001

A group of four bits, two nibbles make a byte.

A kilobyte is a unit of storage capacity. 1,000 bytes= 1 kilobyte.

A megabyte is a unit of storage capacity. 1 million bytes or 1,000 kilobytes = 1 megabyte.

A gigabyte is a unit of storage capacity. 1024 megabytes = 1 Gigabyte
