What different features do Palisade leaf cells have to normal plant cells (And why)!
They're packed with chloroplasts, (which helps them with photosynthesis!) They're tall, giving them a high surface area (For absorbing CO2) and they're thin so lots of them can be packed in the top of the leaf!

What are guard cells?
Guard cells are a kidney shape, which opens and closes the stomata (pores) in a leaf.

Why are guard cells useful when the plant has lots of water?
When the plant has lots of water, a guard cells fill with the water, and go turgid, this maked the stomata open so gases can be exchanged for photosynthesis = energy!

Why are guard cells useful when the plant does not have much water?
When the plant is short of water, the guard cells become flaccid making the stomata close, this stops too much water vapour escaping

What time of day do guard cells close and why?
They close at night, to save water without losing out on photosynthesis.

What are red blood cells adapted to carry and how do they do this?
Red blood cells are adapted to carry Oxygen! They have a large surface area and a concave shape which helps them absorb oxygen and pass smoothly though capillaries to reach body cells!
