- SCIENCE- biology
- A group of cells makes up a tissue e.g a heart mucsle
- A group of tissues makes up an organ e.g a heart
- A group of organs makes up a system e.g circulatory system
- A group of systems makes up an organism e.g humans
- BOTH TYPES OF CELLS HAVE- Nucleus, Cytoplasm, Cell membrane, Mitrochondria
- PLANT CELLS v ANIMAL CELLS
- ONLY PLANT CELLS HAVE- Cell wall, Large vacuole, Chloroplasts
- ROOT HAIR CELL IN PLANTS- A large surface area, A thin cell membrane
- SPECIALISED CELLS
- SPERM CELL- is an example of a specialised animal cell
- RED BLOOD CELLS- Carries oxygen around the body. Adaptions: No nucleus,Large surface area
- WHITE BLOOD CELLS- fight disease and some make antibodies. Adaptations- irregular shape, they can change shape to squeeze out of blood vessels and get to the site of infection.
- SPECIALISED PLANT CELLS- each cell is filled with chloroplasts which contains chlorophyll if a plant contains many cells its meant to photosynthesise.
