Doesnt have the equipment - enzymes, ribosomes

What does HIV eventually lead to?
AIDS

What is AIDS?
A condition where the immune system deteriorates and eventually fails

When are people classed as having AIDS?
1) Symptoms of their failing immune system appear OR 2) Their T helper cell count drops below a certain level

How do people die?
They die from an opportunistic disease (kills them because weak immune system) not AIDS itself
