It would speed up the useful and unwanted reaction. Theres also a limit to how far you can raise the temperature before its cells start getting damaged.

A substance which increases the speed of a reaction without being changed or used up in the reaction.

Why do enzymes need to have the correct temperature?
If it gets too hot the bonds holding the enzymes together break, which changes the shape of the enzymes active site and the substrate wont fit anymore. The enzyme is said to be denatured.
