Function of the cytoplasm
Its is a gel like substance where proteins life enzymes are made. E.g anaerobic respiration.
1 of 13
Function of the Cell Memebrane
It holds the cell together and controls what goes in and out. It lets water and gases pass through while acting as a barrier to other chemicals.
2 of 13
Function of the Mitochondria
Where enzymes are needed for the reactions of anaerobic respiration are found and where the reactions takes place.
3 of 13
Function of the Nucleus
It synthesises ribosome and holds DNA.
4 of 13
What is a Vacuole?
It is only in plants, it contains cell sap. It's a weak solution of sugar and salts.
5 of 13
Function of a Cell Wall
It is made of cellulose. It supports thecell and strengethens it.
6 of 13
What is Chlorolplast?
This is where the reactions for photosynthesis takes place. They contain green substance called chlorophyll and the enzyme is needed for photosynthesis.
7 of 13
What are the features of a animal cell?
Nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane & mitochondria..
8 of 13
What are the features of a plant cell?
Cell wall, vacuole, chloroplasts, mitochondria, cell membrane, cytoplasm and nucleus.
9 of 13
What is the feature of a Single Celled Micro-organism?
Cell membrane, mitochondria, cell wall, nucleus and cytoplasm.
10 of 13
What are rge features if a bacterial cell?
Cell membrane, cell, wall, cytoplasm & circular DNA molcule.
11 of 13
